Curt Fleming
Our reel is my bio. Every frame is somewhat influenced by my past, and while I'm proud of it, it is also history. I live knowing that my best work is always ahead of me. This is what keeps me inspired everyday. I love to create and I particularly like employing humor to entertain.
My goal for us is to stay focused, stay small and do great work that makes an impact. It's a simple formula and as long as this world needs good storytellers, we don't intend on deviating from it.

Scott Fleming
My appetite to invent and create manifested itself early on in motion graphics and that took me through the Vancouver Film School, and on to what we've built today. My passion is cinematic storytelling and employing new technologies and techniques that bring an added dimension that you can't quantify - you just feel it. Capturing that magic is what drives all of us.
Caroline Scott
In 2002, Curt & Scott came to me with the idea of starting a boutique production house. The offer was "we can't pay you, but we're going to create something special". I believed in it and I believed in them. As I write this, we just won our first National Gold ADDY. As the Head of Production, I've had my hand in all of it, from the very first production in 2002. When the idea evolves into a script and boards, I get to make it happen. That's where I belong, in the chaos. I'm unstoppable because people deserve to see great work.
Art Riddle
My father is an art director and I loved being on set with him growing-up. I knew early on that I wanted to be in the business. It was in film school where I found my passion in editing. I started on one of the first non-linear editing systems and cut my teeth working for a few post houses and running my own shop before joining merit/andrew in 2002. I'm proud to say that I've had my hand in almost every production since we started. We're a band. We all work together to bring something better to the table with a singular focus on the story. It's always an inspiring process.
Austin Kearsley
My passion is creating emotional connections with people through my craft. After graduating from UC Irvine, I gained professional experience producing, shooting and editing. While I enjoy all aspects of production, I've focused in on the power of editing. I love the art and science of it and working as a team to bring our client's vision to life.
Sarah Marr
My career as a Producer started at Chapman University Film School in 1997 when a friend of mine said to me, "Sarah, I want you to produce my film. Don't worry, it is fun, easy, and you will be great at it." I look back at that moment fondly. She was partially right. While it isn't "easy", I learned that I was great at it. I was born to produce. It's in my DNA. merit/andrew fuels my desire and makes the entire process fun. All of the projects we work on are always first class. I'm fortunate to be a part of a creative force that understands how to deliver the best.
Jason Rapp
I've always been passionate about design and in 1993 I discovered I had talent in the emerging field of animation. Great design is the basis for great animation, so I made the leap into After Effects and Cinema 4D. Since then, I've been working at big broadcast design and animation houses all around LA. The technology has evolved, but the principles remain the same. Today, the possibilities are endless and I love the challenge of bringing something to life from a simple idea. It's amazing what you can do when you work with great people that allow you to truly be creative everyday.
Andrew Rakestraw
Since I can remember, I've always loved CG animated cut scenes in video games. In high school, I wanted to learn how to make my own, so I went the Art Institute of San Diego to study Video Game Art and Design. Before I graduated, I was already working in a visual FX studio doing exactly what I wanted. The first time I got to see my work presented on a big screen and watch the audience enjoy my craft, I knew my career was set. I love this industry because there is always something new to learn or a challenge to overcome. When you make something cool and people enjoy it, it's the greatest feeling ever.
