Private Concert

The Arena Without Walls

A global superstar. A private stage. An arena show with no arena.

Global tech company · Private concert film · Set design, production, 6-camera live capture

The Brief

A global technology company wanted to give their people a holiday gift money usually can't buy: an intimate concert from one of the biggest bands in the world. Grammy-nominated. Multi-platinum. Billions of streams, chart-topping hits across the globe, and songs that have soundtracked blockbuster films. The kind of act that headlines arenas, playing just for them.

The Idea

Bring the arena to everyone. We built a private concert from the ground up and captured it as if it were live, so every employee, anywhere in the world, could feel like they had a front-row seat.

What We Built

We designed and built the full stage and set at a studio in LA, engineered for the band and the cameras in equal measure. Working alongside longtime collaborator Warren Tash of Tashman LA as technical director, we captured six tracks with a six-camera package, cut and covered like a live broadcast, not a studio shoot.

The Reach

Built in a single studio, delivered to the whole company: roughly 20,000 employees across every region and time zone, all watching the same show. An arena act, no arena required.

In partnership with Tashman LA. Merit/Andrew and Warren Tash have worked together for years on both sides of the call sheet, from this concert to a live CES performance by Cold War Kids that we produced for Panasonic to corporate events and meetings from LA to Dubai.
